The National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) was honored to be represented at the Nevada Public Health Association’s Annual Conference in Las Vegas on April 22-23, 2026.

Tamara Telles, NHHF Programs Manager, who was raised in rural Nevada and completed her MPH and undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation and participate on two plenary panels focusing on and the importance of diversification.

Her keynote speech titled "Creating A Public Health Belonging Community – Strategies for Workforce Pipelining" focused on building a stronger, more inclusive health workforce through , , and pathway development.
