I recently had the opportunity to attend the Swift Beauty Full Face Injection Techniques training course in Chicago.

Learning from Dr. Arthur Swift, alongside Dr. Christian Subbio, was an outstanding educational experience that reinforced the importance of facial anatomy, the aging process, facial harmonization, and advanced injection techniques.

One of the things I value most about aesthetic medicine is that there is always more to learn. Continuing education allows me to stay current with evolving techniques and evidence-based practices so I can continue providing safe, thoughtful, and natural-looking results tailored to each patient’s unique anatomy and goals.

Wrinkle relaxers such as Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Daxxify are not one-size-fits-all treatments. The goal is always to create results that match each patient’s preferences, anatomy, and comfort level with movement.

In these videos, you can see a full-face wrinkle relaxer treatment:

One of the most important conversations about wrinkle relaxers is understanding the balance between wrinkle reduction and movement. Sometimes it’s a trade-off — preserving more movement may mean keeping more visible expression lines, while stronger relaxation can create a smoother appearance with less movement.

For this patient, softening the lines was the priority, and she was comfortable with less movement in exchange for a smoother result.

Wrinkle relaxers gradually take effect over about two weeks, and results often continue to soften naturally as the treatment settles.
