Your liver performs over 500 functions every single day.

It filters your blood, metabolises your hormones, processes every chemical, medication, and pesticide that enters your body.

It produces bile to break down fat, stores vitamins and minerals, regulates your blood sugar, and makes proteins your blood needs to clot.

Most women over 30 are sabotaging the liver’s functioning abilities by:

Eating ultra-processed foods with additives the liver has to neutralise
Drinking alcohol which demands full liver priority

I spent years feeling off and being told my labs were ‘fine.’

But I was exhausted, bloated, and dealt with a brain fog that coffee couldn’t lift. 

And appointment after appointment, I got the same answer:

“Your bloods look normal. Maybe try reducing stress.”

Here are the 3 things I know now that I wish I’d known then:

→ ‘Normal’ lab ranges are not the same as optimal.

→ Fatigue is often a pathway problem, not a willpower problem.

→ Symptoms are your body’s language. Not the enemy.

Your body has a built-in detox system. And it works in 3 phases.

Phase 1- Toxins are broken down but temporarily become MORE toxic.
Phase 2- The liver binds toxic intermediates to amino acids, sulphate, and glutathione
to make them water-soluble and safe to eliminate.
Phase 3- Neutralised toxins leave via bile, bowels, urine, and sweat.

Most cleanses only activate Phase 1.
They starve Phase 2 of everything it needs.

Not all detoxes are equal.

In fact — juice cleanses, laxative teas, and crash protocols can actively make things worse.

Here’s why:

Your body detoxes in 3 phases.

➡️ Phase 1 breaks toxins down — temporarily making them MORE toxic.

The real issue isn’t sleep, It’s toxin overload.

Every single day, your body is exposed to substances it has to process and remove. From the food you ea, the drinks you consume, environmental chemicals, and stress hormones. 

Your liver, kidneys, and gut are responsible for clearing this out.

And they do most of this work while you sleep.

But when the load becomes too high, your body cannot fully clear it overnight.

So instead of using that time to restore your energy, regulate your hormones, and repair your cells… your body stays busy trying to catch up on cleanup.

This creates internal stress.

Your nervous system stays activated.

Your cells don’t fully recharge.

Your energy production becomes less efficient.
