National Hispanic Medical Association The National Hispanic Medical Association is the premiere membership association representing the interests of 50K+ licensed Hispanic physicians.

Register today for our 28th Annual Conference! NHMA represents over 50,000 Hispanic physicians committed to improving the health of Hispanic populations and working with our public and private sector partners. We serve as a resource to the Federal government and private corporations and nominate our members to leadership positions, educate through Hispanic Health Congressional Briefings and regional health policy briefings. We develop networking forums for medical students, residents and physicians and others to exchange ideas and strategies on health care. For many Latino families, seeing a doctor who looks like them and speaks their language can be the difference between avoiding care and getting it. Every Latino physician is a bridge, and every Latino medical student is a promise of a healthier future.

The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA), in partnership with the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD), invites you to join an exciting webinar on September 23 at 1 p.m. ET to explore the intersection of HIV and aging.

Our upcoming webinar will examine how health care providers and public health professionals can better address the evolving needs of people aging with HIV. The discussion will bring together two complementary perspectives: the geriatric lens, which considers how aging and age-related conditions influence HIV care, and the HIV disease intervention lens, which explores how chronic HIV infection and its effects on the immune system may influence the aging process.

Participants will learn about current challenges, evidence-based approaches, and opportunities to improve health outcomes and quality of life for people aging with HIV.
