It’s uncomfortable to admit that we may carry biases about people who are different from us.

I’ve taken the Harvard Implicit Association Test and I haven’t always been pleased with my results.

But that’s exactly why I think this work matters. We can’t examine our biases if we’re unwilling to acknowledge that we have them.
