New evidence on a question that matters: How do Medicaid managed care enrollees experience their care?

Our latest MHPA research reveals that Medicaid enrollees in predominantly managed care states report significantly better experiences with their care, health plans, and providers compared to those in fee-for-service states.

📊 The Data: After controlling for key state differences, managed care states performed 3 to 5 percentage points better across experience-of-care measures.
