🎶 We’re so excited to welcome another concert season at Star Lake!

Our crews were thrilled to provide EMS coverage for the first show of the year last night.

As another busy season begins, we’re incredibly grateful for the chance to support our community behind the scenes and help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. A huge thank you to our amazing providers who make this coverage possible.

Here are a few photos from yesterday’s day, with almost 20 medic units out on the road. 🚑🎸

Our crews were honored to provide coverage for the annual Sarris Candies Run for Alex. Our own EMT Mock ran, serving her community on and off the trucks.

For more than 20 years, this event has brought our community together to celebrate the life and legacy of Alex Loos, a talented Bentworth student-athlete whose life was tragically cut short in 2004. Through the From Alex With Love Foundation, her memory continues to impact local students, families, and community organizations through scholarships and charitable giving.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, participants, and supporters who made yesterday’s event a success. It was inspiring to see so many people come together for a great cause while honoring Alex’s lasting impact on our community!

As EMS Week draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible individuals who make our service truly special. Our crews consistently demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to the communities we serve. For this, we THANK YOU.

We also want to extend our thanks to the businesses who supported our staff throughout the remainder of the week with fresh meals.

Special thanks to:
- Shorty’s Hot Dogs
- Chipotle Washington (donated by Penn Care)
- Rusty’s for sponsoring our Friday Picnic

Amidst the over 400 ambulance calls for service last week, we managed to capture a few moments of our Ambulance and Chair team. Here are some of the faces that make our service so special!

Happy EMS Week! We want to take a moment to recognize the incredible support our crews have received from the community this week. The generosity shown to our staff has been truly appreciated and is a reminder of how fortunate we are to serve such a supportive community.

A huge thank you to Mamma Cheez Washington and Italian Boys Pizza for providing food for our crews on Monday, and to Chick-fil-A Washington for today’s donation.

We also want to extend a very special thank you to the residents of Bellmead Apartments for organizing a “Stuff a Truck” initiative. Residents collected donations and delivered them to our station today as a thank you to our staff.

We’re humbled by the continued support, and we still have more community donations and visits planned later this week.

Most importantly, thank you to our crews. Every day, our EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, PHRNs, dispatchers, supervisors, and staff show up ready to serve others.

Happy EMS Week to all EMS professionals everywhere. 🚑💙

Just a little over a week ago, our very own Director participated in the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride, a powerful event dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of EMS professionals across the country. Curt and a few others from the region began in Jamestown, Virginia and concluded in Greenville, South Carolina — covering 519 miles over 7 days and climbing more than 17,666 feet in elevation.

Throughout the journey, ceremonies were held to honor and remember our fallen colleagues. Names were read aloud, followed by the ringing of the bell, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten. Curt rode in memory of Brenna Kulikowski, who tragically died last September.

The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride exists to honor EMS professionals while promoting physical and mental wellness within our profession. It serves as a reminder of the bonds shared in EMS and the importance of remembering those who came before us.

We are proud of Curt and his support in an event that carries such deep meaning for the EMS community!

“Semper Memoria — We always remember.”
