World Hospice and Palliative Care Day

This World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we recognize the importance of compassionate care for people living with serious illness and the families who support them.

This year’s theme, “Pain Management: An Essential Part of Palliative Care,” reminds us that relief from pain and other distressing symptoms is essential to dignity and quality of life. Palliative care can support people at any stage of a serious illness, alongside other treatments.
