☀️ Heat Safety Reminder ☀️
With temperatures rising, it’s important to protect yourself and your family from heat-related illness. Stay safe by remembering a few simple tips:
💧 Drink plenty of water — don’t wait until you feel thirsty
🧢 Wear lightweight clothing and sunscreen
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked car
⚠️ Watch for signs of heat exhaustion:
• dizziness
• nausea
• headache
• excessive sweating
• muscle cramps
If symptoms become severe or someone stops sweating, seek medical attention immediately. UCDE has multiple, in-person providers, extended hours, and accepts all insurances! NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED!
