DCH Cradle Wall/Footprints to the Future
Since 2006, many families have selected our “Cradle Wall/Footprints” program as a special way to support the Women’s Health Center at Daviess Community Hospital. Many of these families bring their child to the display and show them the footprint as they tell the story of their birth.
Support of this program helps Daviess Community Hospital Women’s Health Center to continue investing in new technology, life- saving equipment, facility upgrades and our various women’s programs, support services and community education initiatives. For each gift of $125 or more, the Daviess Community Hospital Foundation will place a beautiful medallion engraved with the baby’s name, birthdate and footprint on the display near the Women’s Health Center.
The oldest footprint on the display honors Joe Kilps, who was the oldest living person born at DCH during our 100th Anniversary in 2013.
Joel and Emily Thompson recently placed the medallions for all three of their children. Chris and Rose Raber came to DCH with their youngest daughter, Adeline, to place her medallion alongside her three siblings' medallions.
We invite every baby born at Daviess Community Hospital, both past and present, to become part of the Hospital’s history forever on our Footprints to the Future. For more information about ordering a “footprint” or about the DCH Foundation, please call 812-254-2760.
