So proud of what this team started! 💜

Yesterday was a special day! We had the privilege of dropping off all the incredible donations from the EmpowHER Wellness Social to the Washington High School.

Nurses Kelli and Emily were on hand to accept the haul, and they will be ensuring these essentials get into the hands of middle and high school students who need them most. We didn't just bring products; thanks to our amazing sponsors and attendees, we were also able to present a $1,000 monetary donation so the nurses can replenish stock throughout the year!

Here is a look at the community's generosity by the numbers:

💪 27 Boxes of Tampons (that's 800+ tampons 🤯) & 24 Packs of Pads

Such a great episode! If you:
-have chronic UTIs
-are breastfeeding
-experience any pelvic pain
-experience any genitourinary symptoms of peri/menopause (dryness, irritation, increased urinary urgency or frequency, low libido, etc)

There are a few places that provide referrals or at least education following a c-section but rarely for a vaginal birth. Why are we not making this an automatic practice?! A automatic referral to a pelvic floor therapist should be the standard of care!
