🍾🌟Exciting News!! 🌟🍾

I’m thrilled 🙌🏾 to announce that I have stepped into a new role as an Associate Producer 🎥 at Altered Image, a communication agency based in NJ.

As a producer, I’ll be overseeing production logistics and working with our clients to develop the content 🗒️ and creative elements of the production prior to their event. I’m diving into this new role head first you’ll!!!! YASSSSSSS!!! 🏊🏾‍♀️

I’m so thankful to God 🙏🏾 for this blessing to build on my 10 years of experience in event planning and management.

Thank you to everyone who supported me during my job search this summer and especially to those whose support goes back over 10 years when I took the risk to leave wealth management and follow my heart to the event industry. It was the best career choice I ever made! ❤️

I’ve taken 5 years off from producing events to adjust into my new life as , but now outside is back open and the need for quality events has increased dramatically. People want and need something more. Especially, full-time primary caregivers. 🙌🏾

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes and so excited to eventually share what I’ve been working on. I’m ready to get back to producing experiences that encourage powerful personal & professional connections! 💪🏾

IN REMEMBRANCE - 100 Years since the Tulsa Massacre

In 1906, O.W. Gurley arrived in Tulsa where he purchased 40 acres of land with the direction only to sell it to colored people. This land became what is now known as Black Wall Street and was a thriving Black society with an incredible economy until it was destroyed by a white mob in 1921. Both the lawless stealing of Black-owned property and the dissolution of Black Wall Street have had a lasting impact on the furtherance of Black society, and we remember the atrocities that the residents of Greenwood experienced 100 years ago. We cannot allow institutional racism to weigh us down any longer. Our community must rally together to uplift and bless others through the art of passing down more - building our own alternatives to sustain us for generations.

1st and Foremost - This picture is additional evidence and does not even begin to display the amount of small businesses that Amber has blessed. 🙏🏾 She has introduced me to sooooooo many owned by of color that I had never met and consistently purchase from that I can’t even get my thoughts together honestly. Amber is a natural .

My purchases at her pop-ups have inspired and encouraged me along my journey like no other. She has no idea that I am saying this. Lmao But yes girl. There was no way I was not making .

💰Savings - Always try to pay yourself 1st if you can. Even if it is $25. Set it aside. You never know when you might need it.

🧘🏾‍♀️Self-Care - I know it is easier said than done but if you have the time, use this opportunity to spend money participating in an activity you enjoy.

This is AMAZING! This needs to be replicated in many towns & cities across this nation. Growing up in a home was a blessing. And I am blessed to still have my childhood home. Now that I am older, I understand the importance of a program and the amazing positive impact it would have on so many communities that need it. Man what I would have done if I were to have owned my first home by 21. Cheers to these group!

On the 2nd day of , I’m giving a big to Mario Armstrong! ✊🏾✊🏾

I first met Mario after he gave an extremely passionate and uplifting talk at a social media conference back in 2015. I was moved to speak with him after his speech. I waited in line and when I got my chance, I poured out my big idea💡and even though, I probably sounded a bit scattered, he encouraged me to use my voice 🗣 and believe in my vision. It meant a lot to me that he took the time to listen and uplift me that day. 🙌🏾 In many cases, speakers don’t take the time to speak to their audience, but Mario did. I could see then his passion to see people is & infectious! 🔥

Later that year, my mother suddenly passed away and my life was changed forever. I became very depressed and started doubting my vision. 😢

Then I get an email from Mario!! 🙌🏾 Okay, I know... I’m on his email list. But still, it felt like he was speaking to me!! 😂 It was an invite to the taping of the Never Settle show in !! I jumped at the opportunity! Little did I know, attending the taping of those 2 shows at the end of 2019 would prepare me for my professional and spiritual evolution during #2020. Hearing Mario again so many years later, reminded me of the 1st time I heard him speak. It was time to stop doubting myself & . And most importantly for me - STOP wasting time with dream killers!! During the , I focused on removing negativity and surrounding myself with positivity and . Thank you Mario for unknowingly being an important part of my evolution! Thank you for sharing your gift with world!!
