My birthday isn't officially until July 11th (happy birthday ) I personally celebrate my birthday all month long!

When I was younger my mom always did her best to give me the best birthdays that she could, even though we did not have a lot. Wrapping gifts in newspaper, homemade cakes, dollarstore gifts, selling food stamps to buy gifts and returning bottles to buy the booze was common when I was a kid.

I am grateful because she always made me feel special. Like I was the only one born that day! She even had me convinced that gave me a free slushie because it was My birthday! My mom did the best she could with the tools she had and I encourage all of you to do the same.

Social media has us all believing that we need "things", but what we need is to be surrounded by the people who truly love us. I love July! Spend the month seeing the people I love and who make me feel special and loved.

So to all my July babies! I hope you have a fabulous month!
