On this national wear-purple day for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury stands with individuals and families affected by domestic violence—always.

Wear purple clothing, a ribbon, or an accessory to show solidarity with people affected by domestic violence, honor victims, and help start meaningful conversations about ending domestic, dating, and gender-based violence.

Domestic violence can happen to anyone. Every act of awareness helps remind those affected that they are believed, supported, and not alone.

Safe Haven provides free, confidential, trauma-informed support—including 24/7 crisis services, counseling, advocacy, emergency shelter, and prevention education—to individuals and families throughout Greater Waterbury.
