Her inspiration started over twenty years ago when her daughter had severe allergies to an anti- bacterial soaps that had just become popular. Over the years Mary Ellen has created and perfected over 90 different natural soaps, including natural beer and goat milk soap, natural balms and ointments, natural bug repelling oil and an array of other natural bath products. Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Before you fire up the grills and toast to those who've served our country, stop by the Oakland County Farmers Market for your locally-grown flowers and plants, early-season produce and artisan goods.

We'll be here 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday for the third of our Spring Flower Days.
