Breast cancer screening and early detection play a crucial role in your health. Screening tests such as mammograms and clinical breast exams are the most common tests used today. Self-exams are important to help monitor any changes to your breasts, and can be easily conducted on your own. 🩷

Cancer screenings are important, and that's why we offer a $10 gas card each time you complete a cancer screening with Peoples Community Health Clinic. With mammogram services available on-site at our Waterloo clinic, receiving these screenings is seamless.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re teaming up with Molina Healthcare of Iowa for a special day focused on breast health, community, and a little bit of muffin-fueled encouragement. 🩷

All scheduled mammogram appointments are currently FULLY BOOKED! 🎉 If you’re due for a mammogram and weren’t able to snag an appointment, we may be able to accommodate walk-ins if an appointment becomes available due to a cancellation or no-show.

And there’s more! Molina Healthcare will be joining us outside the clinic with tents where their team will be available to share information about their services. Plus, they’ll have muffins and refreshments and will be giving away FREE BRAS while supplies last! 🧁👙🩷

Because taking care of yourself should always be in style, and sometimes a muffin helps. 😉
