You will oversee daily operations in the pharmacy and work collaboratively with the front-end manager to ensure the customers, employees, and the store is well cared for. You will also supervise the pharmacy staff and balance staffing needs in line with profitability plans. You will ensure work is processed efficiently to meet pharmacy performance standards and embrace best practices.

You will work with and be supported by the Pharmacy Leadership Team to ensure staff receives training at the store level. Your team will appreciate your annual performance reviews, goal setting, and consistent feedback you provide regularly. You will serve as a department resource for escalated patient issues.

You will work with the Director of Clinical Services and Director of Pharmacy to implement and enhance all MTM programs, pharmaceutical care programs, clinical-based services, or any program that will benefit our patients.

You will embrace, and hopefully get excited about, Hometown Pharmacy’s inclusion of health and wellness education when counseling and helping your patients. You entered this business to help patients and we have the tools and training to expand your role beyond dispensing prescription medications.

Most importantly you will work with your pharmacy team to provide excellent customer service. Organically you will build relationships with regular customers and enjoy helping change lives.

We are blessed to be able to serve you during this challenging time. We want to keep you and our staff safe and healthy. If you are sick or think you have been exposed to the influenza virus or coronavirus, we kindly ask you to stay home. We WILL find a way to get you your medication!

There are many non-traditional ways to get your medicine that include FREE CURBSIDE PICK-UP and Mail delivery service if able for refills.

Call early... at least 3-5 days before you run out of your medicine to give us ample time to refill maintenance meds.

Try to keep distance when in crowds and try to avoid proximity with people who are sick.

Call and check-in with family, friends, and neighbors who may feel socially isolated and lonely. Our greatest gifts to one another are love and kindness.

Don’t panic. Use common sense. We will get through this as a community!
