But if you ask me on a deeper level, I would tell you that I was seeking a sense of camaraderie.
I would tell you that I want to do something I love while loving what I do!
And I would tell you that there is nowhere else I would rather be and no one else I would rather be working side-by-side with 🧡

In June, The Surgery Center completed our two-day accreditation survey and we are pleased to share that we successfully passed. The surveyors provided fantastic feedback regarding our processes, teammates, and outcomes, which reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team.
Today, we received our official certification. This is a wonderful accomplishment and a testament to the high-quality care and commitment demonstrated every day at The Surgery Center. Thank you to everyone who helped make this achievement possible!

Today, The Surgery Center celebrated Jim Lind's retirement from the plant services team. Jim's dedication to putting his colleagues' needs first is a valuable lesson for everyone. Throughout his time here, Jim has consistently demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm for helping others, making everyone feel like they are his top priority. His partnership, friendship, and legacy at The Surgery Center have made a lasting impact on the organization.

This week, The Surgery Center proudly observes its Annual Employee Appreciation Week. Our leadership team acknowledges the importance of each employee's contribution, emphasizing that all roles are essential to ensuring the best possible patient outcomes. From case scheduling and registering patients, all of the clinical roles in between, and cleaning instruments and the rooms after your visit, every aspect of our operation relies on the dedication and hard work of our teammates.

What is teamwork?
Some might define it as a group effort of collaborating to achieve a shared goal. Others might mention communication, clear roles, and synergy.
While we agree that teamwork does include those things, we also know that it takes more than a common goal or working well togther.
Teamwork is what happens when a group of people acknowledge that their differences make them stronger and better able to attack challenges head-on, providing them with the tools and resources they need to complete a task and achieve great things.
Over the last two days, our teammates did just that! They pulled together, using their individual strengths and abilities to tackle the challenge of an AAAHC survey, all while continuing to care for patients and provide great service!
We are SO proud of our team and their ability to overcome challenges together! We wouldn't have completed accreditation without the contributions of each and every team member!
