🍾 🥂 17 years ago today, I graduated from massage therapy school! I was just a kid who has grown up in the bodywork field. I have watched it (finally!) turn into a respected profession by medical professionals and the general public alike!
Massage may not be as “exciting” as it once was in the beginning, but learning about and working with the human body is still fascinating!
I have seen clients walk into the office who were told by their doctor a surgery on xyz body part is inevitable, only to be told six months later it’s no longer necessary. i’ve watched countless clients use massage as part of their recovery from surgery and had their healing time cut down significantly because of bodywork. Countless stories! Countless times I’ve been touched by the stories and lives of my clients. I know how privileged I am to be part of your healthcare team and to have your trust in my skills. I know many people think they come to see me for help, but honestly, I’ve learned so much about life and who I am because of my clients! Forever grateful, always learning.
