This is why hair color matters during laser hair removal

Diolaze works by targeting pigment in the hair follicle. Dark hair absorbs the laser energy, which is why you can clearly see the reaction on darker hairs in this video. Lighter blonde, gray, white, or red hairs don’t contain enough pigment for the laser to properly target, so results are much more limited.
