What a wonderful way to celebrate 40 years of ThedaStar!

On Saturday, current and former crew members, colleagues, family, and friends came together at Fox Cities Stadium to reconnect, share memories, and recognize four decades of service to patients and communities throughout the region.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all those who have helped shape ThedaStar’s legacy since its first patient flight in 1986. It was a special evening celebrating the people, partnerships, and history behind more than 15,000 patient flights.

Here’s to 40 years—and the next chapter of ThedaStar!

Today, on National Aviation Day, we celebrate the pilots, mechanics, flight communicators, and medical crews who make every Flight For Life – ThedaStar mission possible.

Aviation allows us to connect patients throughout the region with the critical care they need—safely, quickly, and with compassion.

What an enjoyable week celebrating National Night Out!

Our crews appreciated the opportunity to visit events throughout the communities we serve, meet so many families, and spend time with our fellow first responders.

Our apologies to those whose events we weren’t able to attend. Believe us when we say we wish we could have been there!

We’re extending the RSVP deadline for ThedaStar’s 40th anniversary celebration through this weekend. If you haven’t responded yet, there’s still time to join us on Saturday, August 22, at Fox Cities Stadium.

We were pleased to welcome Wisconsin State Representatives Dean Kaufert and Nate Gustafson to our Neenah hangar yesterday.

During their visit, they learned more about Flight For Life – ThedaStar, our operations, and the role our teams play in connecting communities with critical care.

The timing also gave them an opportunity to watch our aircraft depart, and judging by all the phones in the air, it was a highlight of the visit!

We had a great time celebrating National Night Out with communities throughout the region yesterday!

Thank you to the Fond du Lac Police Department and City of Fond du Lac Fire Rescue for inviting us to join their event, and to all the departments and organizations that welcomed our crews and aircraft throughout the evening.

We always enjoy getting out into the communities we serve, meeting families, and spending time with our public safety partners. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and learn more about Flight For Life – ThedaStar!
