Lately, I've been having some profound experiences with animals.

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter and I were on our way to a sound bath when I accidentally ran over a mama fox snake. Even though snakes have never been my favorite creatures, my heart absolutely sank. When I realized she was carrying eggs, the grief hit even deeper.

As I sat with the experience, I reflected on what the snake symbolized for me. To me, snakes represent transformation, shedding old layers, and stepping into something new. I realized I was in the middle of my own season of shedding—letting go of old identities, beliefs, and ways of being so something new could emerge.

I wanted to honor this beautiful mama snake rather than simply move on. While I can't know why this happened, I chose to see the experience as an invitation to slow down, pay attention, and reflect. It became a lesson I know I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.

I believe life is always speaking to us. Sometimes the messages are gentle whispers, and sometimes they arrive in ways that stop us in our tracks. So often we're rushing through our days, focused on the next thing, that we miss the subtle invitations to pause, listen, and become more aware.

Ironically, I was running late that morning. I was in a hurry. And because of that, a life was lost.

It left me asking myself a difficult question:
What am I moving so quickly through that I'm missing the quiet signs trying to guide me?

Maybe that's a question worth asking ourselves from time to time. Because when we don't notice the whispers, life sometimes has a way of getting our attention with something much louder.

❤️ Slow down. Be present. Life is always inviting us to learn, if we're willing to listen.

I've been working behind the scenes for some time now building what I believe is important in the healing journey. I decided to start my own podcast where I will be sharing my perspective on The Complexity of Being Human.

I have a very diverse background in mental health, substance use, complex trauma, and holistic healing and wellness. I've been searching my whole life for the therapy that addresses the mind, body and soul. What I discovered is that it didnt exist so I decided I was going to create it!

I had this most profound experience yesterday with this beautiful dragonfly! I saw him flying in my yard and was in awe as I never saw a white bodied dragon fly before. I did some research and found out he was a mature whitetail dragonfly. Did you know most dragonflies spend the majority of their lives under water preparing for a short period of life 6-8 months above ground?! It reminded me how sometimes the deep work we do goes unnoticed, until one day we spread our wings and we fly!

I followed this little guy around my yard trying to capture a picture of his beauty! It was at the end of the night he finally came up to me, stopped right in front of me and allowed me to pick him up. I just sat there for a good time just soaking in this beautiful connection I made. How wonderful is it to just take in the beauty around us? To connect with another conscious being who has so much to teach us! 💜💫

As I stepped into building my own business, my mission was clear: to create a space that offers profound, lasting transformation.

For those who know my journey, I spent over 13 years working in the field of addiction and mental health. From the very beginning, I found myself constantly asking, "But what is the true root of this problem?" In traditional therapeutic settings, it often felt like we were talking in circles—bound by systemic constraints that rarely allowed the time or depth needed to uncover what was truly causing the suffering in the first place.

When life redirection called me to build a new system, I began weaving together advanced techniques, intuitive approaches, and philosophies cultivated over more than a decade of clinical and personal experience. I realized that true healing requires bringing every single aspect of a person to the table.

Being human is beautifully complex. The mind impacts the body, and the body impacts the mind. Furthermore, we are energetic beings; when our energy is heavy or stagnant, we must address it directly to shift the trauma held within our energy fields.

Because I have continuously evolved, my digital home needed to change to reflect who I am today. I have updated my website and created beautiful new programs designed to guide you deep within—because that is where the real work, and the real magic, lies.

I have been busy working behind the scenes these past few months.

Earlier this year, I felt deeply called to create a Zen garden just outside my bedroom—a sacred space designed around the five elements. Each corner represents an element: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Metal, with Metal residing in the center where I sit in meditation.

While Traditional Chinese Medicine includes Wood as one of the five elements, Spirit kept guiding me toward Air/Wind instead. Sometimes we are called to honor what resonates most deeply with our own journey.
As someone with absolutely no green thumb, I knew I couldn't bring this vision to life alone. Thankfully, my dear friends Steven and Dean answered the call and helped transform this dream into reality. With just a few finishing touches left to complete, this sacred space is nearly ready to be fully activated and enjoyed.
As I sit with the energy of these elements, I find myself wondering:

✨ Which element within you is asking for attention right now?

When the elements are out of balance, they often show up in different ways:

🌎 Earth – Feeling ungrounded, scattered, unsupported, or disconnected from your body.

🌳 Wood – Frustration, stagnation, difficulty moving forward, lack of vision or growth.

🌬️ Air/Wind – Overthinking, anxiety, restlessness, difficulty being present or trusting the flow of life.

💧 Water – Emotional overwhelm, fear, exhaustion, lack of creativity, or resistance to change.

⚙️ Metal – Difficulty letting go, rigid thinking, perfectionism, grief, or a need for stronger boundaries.

🔥 Fire – Burnout, irritability, impatience, emotional intensity, or feeling disconnected from joy and passion.
