We are keeping an eye on the storm check the page for closers or shortened hours!!

ISAIAS looks poised to go into a rapid strengthening phase over the next 24 hours. Hurricane hunters are reporting good pressure falls and we’ll likely wake up to a hurricane by morning.

I’m still feeling good in Louisiana as everything points to a miss to the east. Residents from Mississippi to Alabama and the Florida Panhandle need to be preparing for hurricane impacts. There will be a weakening phase on approach but it won’t be rapid enough to eliminate the threats from storm surge, flooding rains and hurricane gusts.

The greatest concern for SE LA will be coastal flooding, a gusty wind Friday and some passing tropical rain bands. The weekend looks just fine!

A new chapter for Waveland Nutrition, with so much love behind it. 💛

We are so excited to introduce Cate Sousa as the new owner of Waveland Nutrition! Cate is John’s and my niece, which makes this next chapter especially meaningful. Knowing we’re passing something we love into her hands brings us so much comfort and excitement for what’s ahead.

But first, Waveland… thank you. Thank you for welcoming us into your community, supporting our little business, and loving on us the way you have. You’ve given us so much more than customers. You’ve given us friendships, memories, and a place in your everyday lives that we will always treasure.

Waveland has held a special place in my heart since I was a little girl. Growing up spending time at our family’s house on the beach and my Aunt Louise’s gift shop gave me memories that have stayed with me my whole life. Getting to be part of this community through Waveland Nutrition has made that connection even more special. It has truly been an honor.

Stepping away is bittersweet, and we’re going to miss seeing your faces, catching up across the counter, and being part of your daily tea runs. But we feel so good about this next chapter because you are in amazing hands.

Cate brings experience as a nutrition club owner of Woolmarket Nutrition, a heart for people, and a dedication to serving this community that we know will shine. You can still look forward to the same amazing drinks and the same amazing service you love. You may see some new faces, but you’ll find that same warm welcome and care behind the counter.

We are so proud of Cate and so happy for her as she makes Waveland Nutrition her own. Please help us welcome her with the same love you’ve shown us. 🥰

Waveland, you will always be part of our story. Thank you for letting us be part of yours.

With so much love,
Jill & John 💙

💚 HEY, DID YOU KNOW? 💚

Your favorite drink may be closer than you think! 🥤✨

Whether you’re running around the Northshore, headed toward New Orleans, cruising the Mississippi Gulf Coast, or taking a little road trip — there may be one of our sister shops nearby, ready to make something you already know and love.

Different names. Different towns. Different owners.
Same love. Same great drinks. 💚

So if you’re away from your usual spot, stop in and visit one of the shops in our growing family. And make sure you tell them which shop you call home! 🫶
