Our annual fundraiser is just three days away! We will have bowling, food, a raffle, a caricaturist, a DJ, and more! There will also be a sensory room for our clients who don't feel like bowling or want to step away and unwind.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we're wearing PINK to show our support.

Did you know that women with disabilities are at a significantly higher risk of getting breast cancer? According to the CDC, they are less likely to get screenings and aren't aware of the symptoms associated with breast cancer. Because of this, women with disabilities are more likely to be diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and have higher mortality rates. Finding breast cancer early greatly increases chances of survival.

At PLAN of PA, we work to reduce health disparities for individuals with disabilities and make sure they have access to lifesaving screenings. Early detection saves lives!
