It has been my dream since starting All Voices to open a clinic.

That dream will officially become a reality on June 2.

I cannot wait to invite my patients and their families in to start having sessions. I will continue to do home visits, especially for my high need or early intervention patients, but I am excited to have a home base!

Welcome to the first weekend of preparing the space. We painted a fun, colorful wave on the waiting room wall, replaced all the fluorescent lights with recessed lighting, installed a dinosaur wall activity board, and hung up a sensory swing in the treatment room.

Happy Holidays from my family to yours ❤️❄️

All Voices will be closed December 23-January 1 to relax, recharge, and spend the holidays with our families.

I am so grateful to every single one of my patients as well as everyone who has supported my speech therapy practice this year. All Voices started 2024 with 4 patients accepting private pay only. We are ending 2024 with 16 patients, 18 visits a week, and are in network with 4 insurance companies! I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who continues to trust me as their child’s speech language pathologist. I am so excited to see how much we grow and accomplish in 2025!

While I haven’t been posting much on social media, there have been major steps taking place behind the scenes…

All Voices Speech Therapy now takes insurance! The insurances listed in the photo are ready to go. I am in the process of getting credentialed and contracted with Cigna, Healthy Blue, United HealthCare, United Community Plan, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I look forward to being able to serve more members of our community with this change 🌄

So honored to have partnered with my talented friend Will with WillyTMedia to create this one of a kind logo. The name All Voices comes from wanting all children, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender expression, and ability level, to find their voice. This, of course, could be a metaphorical voice as some people communicate through spoken language, nonverbal language, sign language, and/or an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device.

We wanted to reflect this message through the logo and I think it does just that 💙

We don’t have to wait until a student is failing reading for us to detect and begin intervention for dyslexia.

But how?

As early as age 4, our children begin learning their ABCs, using rhyming words, and recognizing the letters in their name. In addition to pre-literacy skills, other early indicators of dyslexia include difficulty remembering important numbers (like phone numbers, addresses, their birthday, or family member’s ages), misusing or mispronouncing words, difficulty following directions, or difficulty learning or retaining new words.

If you notice some of these characteristics in your child or student, an SLP evaluation focusing on pre-literacy or phonological awareness skills may be appropriate! Visit the website link in my bio to complete the contact form to set up a call!

Parents and caregivers, you are the MOST important person on a therapy team. I can know everything about speech and language norms, treatments, and prognoses (which I definitely don’t), but no one knows your child like you do. The insight I receive from parents is just as important, if not more, than my speech pathology degree at forming a plan of care that actually works and empowers a patient. Your voice is invaluable, caregivers, use it!💕
