Last October, Dolly Parton gave her fans a health update.

In a video entitled “I ain’t dead yet!,” the singer explained: “Back when my husband Carl was sick, that was a long time, and then he passed, I didn’t take care of myself, so I let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care of.”

While that video update 10 months ago may have felt like a small detail in the life of one of America’s most beloved musicians, it gives voice to a big problem immediately recognized by many of America’s 63 million caregivers.

Have a great Fourth of July Weekend all! And amongst the food, fireworks and possible World Cup futbol 😄, go see "Young Washington." Its one of the best Colonial times / Revolutionary area flicks... up there with 'Last of the Mohicans' and 'The Patriot' in terms of action and historical context. The new movie is based on Peter Stark's 2018 book with the same name.

A cut above the usual Founding Fathers inspirational biopic, with solid characterizations and a baseline fidelity to history.

Comfort Keepers is growing, and we're looking for a (1) part-time Community Liaison & Marketing Representatives to help us connect with seniors, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners, and (2) a professional, seasoned caregiver to help our scheduling team and care coordinators with openings - we call that person a "Care Team Resource Specialist" or a "Senior Quality Care Specialist" but that's a bit wordy... so we use "Lead Caregiver" for short. 📍 Community Liaison in Weatherford*
Marketing "rep" serving Weatherford, Aledo, Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, Springtown, and surrounding communities. Jamie Barter is now a Client Care Coordinator. This role is posted on LinkedIn.

📍 "Salaried Caregiver" for Parker County
Would help start new cases, cover for other caregivers, do "introductions" and coach/train staff across the service area... on standby and guaranteed a min. # hours each week (25-30)... must have open availability and wide driving radius!! This role is posted on comfortkeepers.jobs. Great opportunity for someone that has a 2nd flexible source of income (cleaning, baking, Door Dash, dog walking)

*The marketing role (18-20hrs / week) is a great opportunity for:
