Sometimes life feels a lot like binding a quilt.
You can be moving along smoothly, everything laying just right… and then you come to a corner.
Corners slow us down. They make us stop, adjust, fold things differently, and pay a little closer attention before we can keep moving forward.
And sometimes we’re tempted to look across the way and think the grass must be greener over there.
But growth doesn’t always come from finding an easier path. Sometimes it comes from learning how to faithfully work the corner we’re standing in.
Romans 5:3–5 reminds us that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope.
So when life turns a corner, don’t assume you’re going the wrong direction.
Keep going.
Keep trusting.
Keep stitching.
God may be using that very corner to shape something beautiful. 🧵🤍
