A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming—especially when communication isn’t accessible. Through Pink Wings of Hope , we walk alongside individuals with hearing loss as they navigate cancer—ensuring they have access to information, support, and a community that understands. This includes:

• Advocacy and resource navigation
• Education and training
• Our video series, The Cocoon
• Care packages during treatment
• Peer support and connection

No one should have to face something like this alone—or without access.
If this work matters to you, we’d be grateful for your support today.

The AMPHL event provided another fantastic experience, highlighted by the attendance of four St. Louis-based interpreters. Among those I had the pleasure of meeting was a remarkable individual from Barnes Jewish Mental Health. From left to right, the interpreters were: Regina Driskill of St. Louis Community College- Florissant Valley, Stephanie Wilcox of Pink Wings of Hope at DEAF, Inc., Kate Roberts of St. Louis Community College- Florissant Valley and DEAF, Inc., Rebecca Pursley of ASL Interpreter Collaborative, and Jessica Watkins of BJC Mental Health. The conference also featured two trailblazing Deaf/Hard of Hearing doctors, Dr. Judith Ann Pachciarz and Dr. Philip Zazove, with Dr. Shania Siddiqi serving as moderator.

I would love to see both new faces and familiar faces as we come together to connect, learn, and support one another. Please come join and help spread the word by sharing this flyer with others who may be interested.
