Peak Potential Institute

Peak Potential Institute Offering programs to the chiropractic profession to improve their technical excellence. Drs. Rosen and Watson met in in Chiropractic school in 1978.

Peak Potential Institute offers premier online and in-person educational programming for the chiropractic profession for all learning styles. Since that first meeting, they have been united behind their commitment to chiropractic care and their pursuit of excellence. They have both dedicated their lives to each other, their family and serving chiropractic profession. Their combined 80 years of per

sonal and clinical and teaching experience in delivering the chiropractic adjustment is unparalleled in the chiropractic profession. Their international outreach through teaching, writing and lecturing has been a driving force in their personal and professional careers since their first seminar taught together as students, in 1979. Their years of experience have taught them the essential principles of a successful practice and lifestyle. The more competent and comprehensive your expertise, the more patients will seek your services and fuel your practice’s growth. Each of the programs programs are designed to raise chiropractic technical excellence to the next level. Both the hands-on and online courses are available throughout the year, to be taken at your home or hosted at several locations throughout the U.S. Individual classes and certificate programs are available on an ongoing basis for pediatric spinal and cranial adjusting, adult spinal and cranial adjusting, SOT® adjusting protocols and other condition-specific classes. These classes and our support materials are tailored to fit different learning styles and all the recordings and materials are easily accessible for repeated review.

The upper cervical spine plays a far greater role in neurological function than many realize. Subluxations in the atlas-occipital and atlas-axis regions can distort the primary respiratory mechanism and place abnormal stress on the dural meningeal system, often contributing to the heel tension patterns seen in Category I complexes. Even more significant: many of these upper cervical subluxations occur before the age of seven.

This 5-week, 5-module course dives deep into the evaluation and correction of Atlas/Axis Dural Meningeal Restriction and its impact on posture, CSF flow, and nervous system balance.

Enrollment is now open.

PLAGIOCEPHALY (Flat Head Syndrome)

Addressing plagiocephaly goes beyond head shape alone. The focus is to correct dural stress in the spine and cranium, reduce sutural restrictions, and restore proper CSF movement for optimal cranial molding and development.

A deeper approach to understanding and supporting neurological function.

The SOR system is more than a technique protocol; it’s a neurological foundation.

An unresolved SOR subluxation can alter dural meningeal tension, disrupt cerebrospinal fluid movement, and create global compensatory patterns throughout the spine and cranium. In infants and children, these patterns can directly impact neurological and structural development during the most critical years of growth.

Understanding whether the primary subluxation pattern is ascending (sacrum to occiput) or descending (occiput to sacrum) changes the way you evaluate, analyze, and adjust your patients. When you identify and correct the primary pattern instead of chasing compensations, patient outcomes can change dramatically.

This is the difference between symptom-based care and indicator-based chiropractic care.

Cerebrospinal Fluid is far more than just fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It plays a vital role in protecting, nourishing, and supporting the function of the entire central nervous system.

In this course, Dr. Martin Rosen and Dr. Nancy Watson take a deeper look into the importance of CSF dynamics and how restrictions within the cranial and spinal systems can impact neurological function, development, and overall health.

Gain a better understanding of the relationship between structure, motion, and neurological expression while expanding the way you evaluate and care for your patients.

Today is a reminder that freedom is built on sacrifice.

On Memorial Day, we pause to honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and selflessness continue to inspire generations, and their legacy should never be forgotten.

As we spend time with loved ones today, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and remembrance.

Cranial bones don’t just sit—they move with every breath.

In this video, Dr. Rosen breaks down the four types of cranial motion, with a focus on secondary respiratory motion and its relationship to dural tension and cranial biomechanics. From flexion/extension to internal/external rotation, understanding these movements allows for precision in cranial corrections and a shared clinical language when adjusting the occiput, temporal, frontal, and other cranial bones.

Breathing isn’t just respiration—it’s a global mechanism that drives cranial motion and neurological function.

The cranium is not a fused, immobile structure; it is a dynamic neurological system designed for motion and adaptability.

Understanding cranial bone movement is essential if you want to accurately evaluate pediatric cranial distortions, dural meningeal tension patterns, and neurological imbalance. Without this foundation, cranial adjusting becomes guesswork instead of a precise clinical procedure.

In this course, you will learn:
• The biomechanics and motion patterns of the cranial bones
• How cranial movement influences the dural meningeal system and CSF flow
• The relationship between cranial restrictions and neurological function
• How to identify compensatory versus primary cranial distortion patterns
• How these concepts integrate into SOT® and cranial adjusting protocols

will guide you through the interplay of respiratory motion, dural tension, cerebrospinal fluid dynamics, and the role of sutures and fontanelles, especially critical in pediatric patients, where early cranial distortions can influence neurological and structural development.

When you understand how the cranium moves, you begin to understand why specific adjustments create measurable neurological change.

This course is designed to strengthen your clinical certainty and improve the specificity of your cranial work in both pediatric and adult cases.

Scoliosis is more than a lateral curvature; it is a reflection of neurological, structural, and postural imbalance.

To effectively manage these cases, chiropractors need more than observation alone. You need precise evaluation procedures, an understanding of compensatory patterns, and a system that helps determine the primary driver of the distortion.

In this 5-week course, you will learn:
• The different types of scoliosis and their underlying causes
• Specific evaluation and measurement protocols
• Adjusting procedures and ancillary support techniques
• In-office and at-home exercises designed to help reduce, stabilize, and manage scoliosis patterns
• How to integrate these procedures into your current technique model

The goal is not simply to “watch and wait.” The goal is to provide patients with a proactive, non-invasive approach that supports structural balance, neurological function, and long-term stability.

Whether you work with pediatric or adult patients, these procedures can immediately expand your clinical toolbox and improve your confidence in managing scoliosis cases.
