🌿 **Meet Brandon – Licensed Professional Counselor at New Care Behavioral Health** 🌿

Finding a counselor you feel comfortable with is an important part of the therapy process. At New Care Behavioral Health, we believe every person deserves a supportive, collaborative, and judgment-free space to work toward their goals.

Brandon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Ohio who provides compassionate care for adolescents and adults. He utilizes a person-centered approach while incorporating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Reality/Choice Therapy to support each client's individual needs.

Brandon has experience helping clients navigate concerns including:

• Life transitions and personal growth

Big Feelings Club is Coming Soon!

We've had a great response to our new Big Feelings Club for children ages 6–9, and we're excited to see the interest growing!

This group is designed to help children:
💙 Understand and name their emotions
🧠 Learn healthy coping skills
🤝 Build friendships and social confidence
⭐ Practice emotional regulation in a fun, supportive environment

Through games, activities, creative projects, and group discussion, kids will gain skills they can use at home, at school, and with friends.

If you know a child who struggles with big emotions, frustration, anxiety, or expressing their feelings, this could be a wonderful opportunity to help them build confidence in a safe and encouraging environment.

Does your child experience big, overwhelming emotions? Do they get easily frustrated, have frequent meltdowns, or struggle to calm down when upset?

We are so excited to announce that Big Feelings Club is coming this August to New Care Behavioral Health! 🧸💛

This 8-week emotional regulation group is designed specifically for children ages 6–9. In a fun, safe, and supportive group environment, kids will learn that all feelings are okay—and that they can handle them using helpful tools!

🎨 What kids will learn:

🔍 Identify and name their emotions

🧍‍♂️ Notice body clues when they are starting to feel upset

🧘‍♀️ Practice calming and coping skills

🛡️ Build frustration tolerance

🗣️ Use words instead of outbursts

🤝 Strengthen peer social interaction and problem-solving skills

🗓️ The Details:

When: Tuesdays from 5:00–6:00 PM

Dates: August 4 – September 29 (Note: No group on September 8)

Duration: 8 weekly sessions
