Everyone starts somewhere when it comes to understanding their cycle.
Some women simply keep track of when their period starts.
Others use an app.
Some chart fertility signs like cervical fluid, basal body temperature, or ovulation.
And many have never tracked anything at all.

There's no judgment here—just curiosity.

Understanding your cycle isn't about being "good" at tracking.
It's about becoming more aware of your body's patterns and learning what normal looks like for you.
So tell me... Which describes you?

A. I track my period.
B. I use an app.
C. I chart fertility signs.
D. I've never tracked anything.

Many women grow up believing fertility is random.
That ovulation just "happens."
That periods arrive out of nowhere.
That symptoms are unpredictable.
But your body is far more intelligent—and far more communicative—than most of us were taught.

Throughout your cycle, your hormones create observable changes in your body. Changes in cervical fluid, cycle length, bleeding patterns, and other biomarkers can provide valuable information about what's happening beneath the surface.

These signs aren't random. They're part of a pattern, and patterns can be observed, recorded, and understood.

That's where cycle charting comes in.

Cycle charting isn't about guessing when you might ovulate.
It's about learning to recognize the signs your body is already providing and developing the skill to interpret them.
Because body literacy isn't magic.
It isn't intuition.
And it isn't guesswork.
It's a skill.
The more you learn your body's patterns, the more confidence you can have in understanding your health.

Have you ever tracked your cycle beyond simply marking the first day of your period? Let me know below.

Most of us were taught that our menstrual cycle is something to manage each month, but what if it's also something we can learn from?

Your cycle is one of the few health indicators that provides real-time feedback about what's happening in your body.

When you start paying attention, your cycle can offer valuable insights about:

o Whether you're ovulating
o How stress is affecting you
o Potential signs of hormonal imbalance
o Patterns in PMS symptoms
o Changes in reproductive health over time

Your cycle isn't just about fertility. It's about body literacy.
The more you understand your body's patterns, the better equipped you are to recognize when things are working well—and when they may need a little more attention.

You don't have to memorize every hormone or become an expert overnight.
Start by getting curious.

If you could ask your body one question and get a completely honest answer, what would it be?

Why am I exhausted?
Why do I have PMS?
Why are my periods painful?
Why can't I lose weight?

Too many of us spend years fighting our symptoms, silencing them, or trying to push through them.

But what if your symptoms weren't the problem?... What if they were messages?

Fatigue, painful periods, PMS, irregular cycles, mood changes, and other symptoms are often our body's way of asking for attention—not punishment for doing something wrong.

Your body is constantly communicating through signs, symptoms, and patterns.

The challenge isn't that your body isn't speaking. It's that most of us were never taught how to listen.

That's one reason I'm so passionate about cycle charting and body literacy. Understanding your body's patterns can help you uncover valuable clues about your hormones, health, and overall well-being.

So tell me...

If your body could answer one question honestly, what would you ask?

Why Your Cycle Matters

We routinely monitor:
Heart rate
Temperature
Breathing
Blood pressure

But what about the one vital sign unique to women?

Your menstrual cycle.

Your cycle isn't just about whether or not you're trying to get pregnant. It's a monthly report card that reflects what's happening throughout your body.
When your cycle changes, it's often your body's way of communicating that something deserves attention—whether that's stress, nutrition, sleep, illness, hormonal imbalances, or life transitions like perimenopause.

Learning to understand your cycle isn't about becoming obsessed with tracking every detail.

It's about developing body literacy.

Because when you understand your cycle, you gain a deeper understanding of your health.

Your Period Is More Than a Period

Many women were taught that their cycle only matters if they're trying to get pregnant.

But your menstrual cycle is actually considered a vital sign of health.

Your cycle can offer clues about:
- Hormone balance
- Stress levels
- Ovulation
- Thyroid function
- Overall reproductive health

Learning to chart your cycle helps you understand what your body is communicating.

Have you ever tracked more than just the first day of your period?
