NCW (Chelan, Douglas, Grant, & Okanogan Counties) has funding for a Hope Squad in every middle & high school. Currently only 33 out of 48 schools are participating. Make sure you are pushing your school administrators to have a peer program in the schools. It saves lives!

SU***DE PREVENTION TRAINING (Free)
Tuesday, May 24th at 8:00 - 10:00am. Via Zoom.

The training is generally 90-minutes long with questions at the end. We will review regional statistics, learn warning signs, risk factors, and what to do in the event someone you love or know is thinking about su***de. We will also talk about common myths of su***de.

September 10th is World Su***de Prevention Day and September is Su***de Prevention Month!

Reminder: It is a myth that asking someone if they are suicidal makes them worse. If you suspect someone is not doing well just ask if they are having thoughts of killing themselves. This will provide relief and give them an opportunity to talk.
