Some of the BEST moments happen outside the walls of Brave Warriors! And judging by these pictures, our Warriors would agree! 🥰

At Brave Warriors, our community outings are about so much more than having fun and getting out of the building. They're about building confidence, creating friendships, learning life skills, exploring new experiences, and discovering all that our community has to offer!

Whether it's feeding animals, visiting a local farm, trying something new, or simply enjoying an afternoon with friends, every outing creates opportunities for growth.

For the adults with disabilities we serve, these experiences are incredibly meaningful. They provide opportunities to practice independence, strengthen communication and social skills, build relationships, and gain confidence navigating the world around them.

💚 Because inclusion doesn't just happen within the walls of our center. It happens when our entire community becomes a place where EVERYONE has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and belong.

We are incredibly thankful for the local businesses, farms, organizations, and community members who welcome our Warriors with open arms. YOU play such an important role in creating a more inclusive North Central Washington!

At Brave Warriors, we believe every child deserves a place where they can be themselves, explore, play, and feel like they belong!

Our sensory spaces are designed to encourage movement, exploration, confidence, and FUN, all while meeting each child where they are. 💕

Whether it's jumping into the foam pit, trying something new, or simply enjoying a space designed with their needs in mind, these are the moments that matter!

And while our Brave Warriors are busy making memories, their caregivers get something just as important, a much-deserved break. ❤️

We are so thankful to have you both on the Brave Warriors team! Thank you for the care, patience, and support you bring to our programs and for the difference you make in the lives of each participant. We’re grateful for all you do to help our participants learn, grow, connect, and have fun!

🍧 Serving Up Smiles & Sweet Treats!

A HUGE thank you to Chelan County PUD for inviting our Sugar & Steam Shave Ice trailer to be part of your Employee Appreciation Event!

We had such a wonderful time serving up delicious shave ice and celebrating the hardworking employees who do so much for our community!

But this is about so much more than shaved ice. 💕

Every event like this creates meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities to build job skills, gain confidence, connect with our community, and experience the pride of meaningful employment.

💙 Did you know that for some of our families, respite is the ONLY break they get from 24/7 caregiving?

For many parents and caregivers, there are no days off. No weekends to recharge. No simple opportunities to run errands, enjoy a quiet meal, or take a moment for themselves.

That's why respite matters. 💕

When Brave Warriors started offering respite in 2020, we served just 8 children. Today, that number has grown to over 50! And the need continues to grow.

At The Nest, our respite program, we provide more than just a safe place for children to spend time. We create an environment where every child can feel welcomed, supported, and successful.

🌟 Our highly trained and compassionate team understands that every child has unique needs.

🌈 Our center features multiple thoughtfully designed rooms, sensory equipment, and engaging activities to help each child have a positive experience.

❤️ And while their children are having fun, caregivers can enjoy something incredibly valuable: peace of mind and a much-needed break.

To the caregivers who give so much of themselves every single day: You deserve support, too.

Sugar & Steam is so much more than a cute little trailer❤

It's a place to learn. A place to build confidence. A place to practice real-world job skills. And most importantly, a place where individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to be part of something meaningful.

We had so much FUN this summer! We are already dreaming about next year❤
