📌 PINNED PUBLIC STATEMENT – PLEASE READ

Hi everyone,
I want to address an ongoing situation involving unauthorized and fraudulent charges appearing on some individuals’ bank statements under the name Zap Beauty Bar.

Please know this clearly:
Zap Beauty Bar is NOT making these charges.
This is a scam involving a third party fraudulently using my business name.

To take immediate action, I have:
• Filed reports with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
• Filed a report with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI – IC3)
• Filed an official police report in Pasco County, where my business is located
• Personally visited Fifth Third Bank (5/3 Bank) since the majority of individuals contacting me bank with them, to see if investigations could be opened and escalated internally

I have been informed that cases like this can take months or longer for an agent to be officially assigned, but the investigation process is in motion. I am also keeping detailed records so all evidence can be submitted when requested.

I understand how frustrating and alarming this situation is. I currently receive numerous calls, texts, and emails daily regarding these charges. While I truly want to help, this has been an overwhelming and emotionally taxing situation. I kindly ask for patience and grace as I continue navigating this process as a small business owner.

If you see a charge and believe it is fraudulent:
• Please contact your bank immediately to dispute the charge
• Request a stop payment and further investigation
• Some individuals have reported being charged again even after receiving a new card, so please ask your bank to take additional precautions

• Charge amount(s)
• Bank or financial institution
