"Where were you years ago?"

Occupational therapist Jennifer Trevino, OTR/L, kept hearing that from older adults who got skilled help only after a fall or a crisis, when their independence was already slipping. So she built a practice that shows up before that point. Functionality For Life brings mobile outpatient OT, home modifications, and dementia caregiving support into Tampa-area homes while prevention can still change the outcome.

As a therapist who shares clinic space within the center to provide OT and PT, I see how meaningful socialization, structured activity, movement and access to supportive services can positively affect the health and independence of older adults.
