It’s More Than Just a Full-Body Session 🐴✨

One of the things I love most about Magnawave PEMF is that it can be an excellent tool for helping identify areas that may need a little extra attention.

Before I ever begin a full-body session, I do a thorough assessment of your horse from poll to tail using the butterfly loop for a more precise evaluation. This allows me to focus in on specific areas and pay close attention to how your horse responds.

I’m looking for those subtle changes and responses that may indicate an area deserves a little more attention. From there, I can incorporate those areas into the session and spend additional time where it is needed.

🐴 Your horse can’t tell us, “It hurts right here.”
But they communicate with us constantly—we just have to know how to listen.

✨ PEMF is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace your veterinarian, chiropractor, farrier, or other qualified professional. It is another valuable tool that can help us become more in tune with your horse and their body.

Every horse is different, and every session should be approached that way.

I don’t just put the loops on and walk away. I assess. I observe. I listen. And I let the horse help guide the session. ❤️

💚 Element’s Next Chapter: Healing, Recovery & Finally Finding Answers 💚

Those of you who know Element’s story, know that we have been on quite a journey trying to understand what was happening with her.

For years, we knew something wasn’t quite right. Her behavior, her heat cycles, the hormonal changes — there were so many pieces that didn’t seem to fit together.

We finally have our answer.
Element had granulosa-theca cell tumors affecting both ovaries.

These tumors weren’t just affecting her hormones and causing the dramatic behavioral and reproductive changes we were seeing. They were also causing her pain and physical discomfort.

I didn't take this decision lightly, because I want her to have the best quality of life possible. Ultimately I did decide to move forward with a laparoscopic bilateral ovariectomy — removal of both ovaries.

It was a big surgery, but it was also the step we needed to take to give her the best chance at feeling her best. ❤️

And now comes the recovery.

As a Magnawave-certified PEMF practitioner, I’m incredibly grateful to have another tool in my toolbox — especially when that tool can be used to help my own girl.

Throughout Element’s recovery, I’ll be incorporating PEMF therapy with my Magnawave system as part of her supportive care. My goal is to help keep her as comfortable as possible and support her body through the healing process.

PEMF is not a replacement for veterinary care, medications, or following her surgeon’s recovery instructions. It’s a complementary modality that I can use alongside the care she needs.

Element has taught me so much over the years — about horses, about listening when something doesn't feel right, and about advocating for them when you know there is more going on.

She is also the heart behind Element’s Essential PEMF. Her name is on my business because she is such a huge part of the reason I do what I do.

Now, I get to use that knowledge and that passion to help her. 💚

My goal is simple:

Help her heal. Help her feel comfortable. 🐴💚
One day at a time. One session at a time. One step closer to feeling better. 💚

Sometimes the injury isn't where the body is talking the loudest. 💚

One of the most fascinating things I see during PEMF sessions is that an old or current injury can create inflammation that affects far more than the original area. The body is incredibly good at compensating, and those compensation patterns can sometimes cause soreness, tightness, or inflammation to appear on the opposite (contralateral) side of the body.

For example...in this video, the horse is protecting a sore left leg, and he may be overloading the right side to compensate which is why we see more reaction on his right side today. Over time, that "healthy" side can become tight, fatigued, and inflamed as well. The same is true for people.

This is why I never focus only on the obvious injury. I look at how the entire body is functioning. Every muscle, joint, and fascia works together, and when one area is struggling, the rest of the body often steps in to help.

PEMF supports the body's natural healing process by: ✨ Encouraging healthy circulation ✨ Supporting normal inflammatory responses ✨ Helping muscles relax ✨ Promoting overall cellular function and recovery

While PEMF isn't a cure, it can be a valuable part of a comprehensive wellness plan by supporting the body as it heals and rebalances.

Every body tells a story—you just have to know where to listen. 💚

Happy Tongues Out Thursday! 👅✨

If your horse starts licking, chewing, making silly faces, or sticking their tongue out during a MagnaWave session, they may be showing signs of relaxation as tension leaves the body. 🐴💙

These little moments are some of our favorites because every expression tells a story of comfort and relaxation.

Now show us your best photos! Share them in the comments or message us for a chance to be featured on our page. 📸

✨"Why is my horse twitching during PEMF?" ✨

A question I sometimes get asked during a PEMF session.

It's often a good thing.

PEMF works by supporting healthy cellular function, circulation, and the body's natural recovery processes.

As muscles begin to relax and release tension, it's not uncommon to see small twitches, skin ripples, lip movement, yawning, licking, chewing, or even a big sigh.

The body is responding to the stimulation and letting go of areas that may have been holding tension or discomfort.

Every horse is different. Some horses show obvious physical responses during a session, while others quietly relax and process with little outward reaction. Neither response is better than the other!

I always pay close attention to what your horse is telling me throughout the session. Those twitches can often provide clues about areas that may be working harder, holding tension, or simply responding to the PEMF.

Have you ever noticed your horse twitching, yawning, or stretching during a session? I'd love to hear about their experience! 💙🐴

There’s a big difference between a “bad day” and a true Lyme flare… and right now, I truly believe Element is working through a flare up.

When horses with chronic Lyme flare, the inflammation in the body can spike quickly. That can mean bigger emotional reactions, increased sensitivity, soreness that seems to move around, muscle tension, changes in movement, and behaviors that feel completely out of character. One day they seem okay, the next day their nervous system feels overwhelmed.

That’s one of the hardest parts of chronic Lyme disease — the fluctuations. The body is constantly trying to regulate inflammation while also managing stress on the nervous system, muscles, fascia, and immune system.

I am working closely with her veterinarian, and she will be starting yet another round of doxycycline as we try to get this flare back under control. Chronic Lyme management is rarely linear, and sometimes it takes adjusting support and treatment plans multiple times along the way.

This is exactly why MagnaWave PEMF has become such an important part of Element’s support plan. PEMF helps support circulation, cellular function, recovery, and the body’s natural healing processes. During flare ups, I focus heavily on helping her body stay as regulated and comfortable as possible instead of forcing through symptoms.

PEMF isn’t a “cure” for Lyme disease, but for horses like Element, it can be an incredible tool to help the body process inflammation, support recovery, and improve comfort during the ups and downs.

Chronic Lyme horses can look perfectly fine one moment and deeply struggle the next. If you know, you know. ❤️
