This weekend I tried something completely new... making homemade bacon for the very first time! 🙃

This is the curing stage that I started on Friday. Now comes the hard part—waiting and hoping I did everything right! 🤞

One of my favorite things about this homestead journey is learning new skills, trying new things, and becoming a little more self-sufficient every year. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it's a learning experience, but it's always worth trying.

🌿 Farmstand Weekend Update 🌿

Just a little heads up that I won’t be doing a ton of baking this weekend. Between laser orders, QuickBooks/book work that I’m way behind on, yardwork, and trying to catch up on homestead projects, there just aren’t enough hours in the day sometimes 💚

I’m also really hoping to finally get more of our refillery items ready for the stand this weekend 👏 As I get things packaged up and labeled, I’ll continue adding them out to the farmstand throughout the weekend.

✨ And more little goodies as we continue growing

We WILL still have:

And I’ll happily bake additional items for anyone who submits orders by ⏰ 6PM this Friday 👏
