I want my clients to understand that a cancellation fee isn’t simply about wanting to charge a fee. When I reserve an appointment for you, that time is set aside specifically for you, and I’m turning away other clients who could have booked that spot. When an appointment is canceled at the last minute, I often don’t have enough notice to fill that time with someone else.

As a small, independently owned salon, my schedule and livelihood depend on those reserved appointments. My cancellation policy isn’t meant to be punitive; it’s there to protect the time I’ve dedicated to each client and to keep my business running fairly. I truly understand that unexpected things happen, and I appreciate your understanding and respect for my time, just as I respect yours. ❤️

Moving forward, all appointments requiring two hours or more will require a deposit to secure and maintain the reservation on my books, regardless of whether you’re a new client or a returning client. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and the deposit helps ensure that commitment is respected.
