Three phone calls, three numbers, pick the lowest one. That is how we buy almost everything, so of course that’s how people shop for this. I have watched women choose an office over a price difference that would not cover a nice dinner, and then spend the next year quietly unhappy about it. Here’s the flip. You didn’t get three quotes for the same thing. You got three quotes for three completely different afternoons & outcomes. Nobody asked how long they’ll be in the room. Nobody asks who decides what they actually need. Nobody asked whether a single person will follow up with them afterward. And almost nobody asked whether the person quoting is willing to tell them NO. That last one is the expensive part. Anybody can buy the product.
