Income guidelines: $39,900 yearly for a one person household; $54,100 for a 2 person ($14,200 each additional person). Ogemaw Hills Free Clinic offers free primary medical care to adults who lack health insurance and meet income guidelines ($39,125 for a one-person household; $13,750 each additional person). Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Evening appointments are available. Call Monday-Thursday 9am- 1pm.

We are offering free gun safety locks at all DHD2 offices, while supplies last, to ensure the safety of children in homes with fi****ms. If you own a gun and have children, take this important step to protect them. DHD2 offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please note that offices in Alcona, Iosco, and Oscoda counties close for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Several weeks ago, a local family generously donated medical equipment for the Personal Care Closet after their parents had passed away.

While we were processing the donation 📦, we literally uncovered something that totally shocked us:

A very large sum of cash 💵 hidden under some paperwork 😲😮😲!

Thankfully, the paperwork bore the late gentleman’s name, and with a little investigation 🔎, we were super excited to be able to return the money to the very grateful family ❤️❤️!!

But this post isn’t about what the Clinic did.

It’s honestly not to receive a pat on the back.

⚠️ It’s a reminder of the importance to please, please always double-check pockets, boxes and hidden spaces when making a donation, especially after a loved one has passed away.

While we were super thankful we were able to contact the family because of the paperwork inside, often when we receive items, we don’t know who the donors were. We would simply be unable to give back any 💰 hidden treasures 💰 we may find.
