Men’s Breakfast a Big Success!

What a fantastic morning at our annual Men’s Breakfast! We were thrilled to welcome a large crowd of gentlemen, including several new faces, who joined us for a morning filled with delicious food, friendship, and plenty of laughter.

Chef Al fired up the grill and treated everyone to a wonderful breakfast that was enjoyed by all. The room buzzed with conversation as friends old and new shared stories, memories, and lots of good-natured laughs.

Guests also had the chance to win a terrific door prize basket packed with sweet and salty snacks, scratch tickets, a Good Days Gift Certificate generously donated by Good Days, and a free COA lunch certificate. Congratulations to Brian, who was the lucky winner!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. It was a wonderful celebration of friendship, community, and good times. Judging by all the smiles around the room, everyone had a great time and is already looking forward to next year’s breakfast!

Good food. Good friends. Great conversations. Another memorable morning at the West Bridgewater COA! ☕🥓🍳🎉😊

💜 June is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging! 💜

Have you noticed all the beautiful purple decorations throughout our center this month?

Many of the vases you see on display started as donated vases that were given a second life through a little creativity, paint, flowers, and lots of love. From the dining room and welcome area to our bulletin boards and seasonal displays, purple has helped us honor Alzheimer’s Awareness Month while adding warmth and beauty throughout the building.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated vases over the years. Your donations have helped transform our center and create decorations that bring smiles to so many faces.

If you’re in the area, sign up for lunch and check out this month’s displays while you’re here@. We’d love for you to see how your donated treasures have been repurposed and enjoyed by our seniors and visitors.

And please—keep those vase donations coming! We are always looking for glass vases, containers, baskets, and other items that can be transformed into future seasonal decorations and centerpieces.

Thank you for helping us make every day a little more beautiful. 💜🦋🌸

🇺🇸 What a wonderful way to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary! 🇺🇸

Despite the summer heat outside, nearly 70 attendees joined us for an unforgettable patriotic performance by Dan Clark, The Singing Trooper, and his wife, Mary Colarusso, at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging.

Dan and Mary captivated the audience with beautiful music, fascinating stories behind many of our nation’s most beloved patriotic songs, and heartfelt recognition of our military service members and veterans. Throughout the performance, attendees proudly waved American flags, creating a sea of red, white, and blue as we celebrated America’s 250th Anniversary.

One of the most touching moments of the afternoon came when Dan dedicated “Danny Boy” to our beloved Assistant Chef, Steve Beauchamp, who recently passed away. The tribute was especially meaningful to our COA family and was received with great emotion and appreciation.

Dan also honored each branch of the military, inviting veterans and family members of those who served to stand and be recognized. Hearing the military branch songs and seeing our veterans acknowledged was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by so many.

Following the performance, many attendees stayed to meet Dan and Mary, take photographs, and share how much they enjoyed the show.

Congratulations to Trish, winner of the JOY 50/50 raffle!

Thank you to Dan Clark and Mary Colarusso for an outstanding performance, and thank you to everyone who joined us for this special afternoon of music, patriotism, remembrance, and community. It was a wonderful way to honor America’s 250th Anniversary and celebrate the freedoms we cherish today. ❤️🤍💙
