Feeling stuck despite “doing everything right”? You’re not broken — stress is often the missing piece. As a dietitian who practices non-diet, whole-person care, I see how chronic stress shifts hormones, drives cravings, and quietly undermines good habits.

It’s not about willpower. It’s about understanding what your body is signaling and responding with kindness. Small, practical shifts—pausing before eating, stabilizing meals, short stress interrupts, and prioritizing rest—can unlock real, lasting change.

If you’re tired of starting over, try asking: “What do I need right now?” That question changes everything. Learn more about working with stress alongside nutrition and building a wellness culture that lasts at litwellnesssolutions.com. 💛

Worried about stroke risk because it runs in your family? You’re not powerless — small, consistent choices add up. Start with one change this week: add a serving of vegetables, take a 20-minute walk, prioritize 7–8 hours of sleep, and cut back on processed foods and alcohol. Over time these habits protect blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar — and build resilience for brain health.

We focus on a non-diet approach that addresses emotional eating, stress, and mindset so changes feel sustainable, not punishing. If you want practical steps or a simple plan tailored to you (or to help your workforce build a healthier culture), we’re here to help. Visit our full guide and resources: https://wix.to/Ki56fOd

Emotional eating isn’t a failure — it’s your brain asking for relief. As a dietitian, I focus on what your brain and body actually need in those moments: better nourishment, mindful awareness, simple coping tools, and sometimes supportive nutrients like magnesium L‑threonate as one piece of the plan.

If you find yourself reaching for food when stressed, tired, or overwhelmed, let’s shift the question from “How do I stop?” to “What does my brain and body need right now?” Small changes — balanced meals, a calming breathing practice, and compassion — add up to lasting transformation.

Want practical, non‑diet strategies to understand your patterns and build better responses? Read the full post and find resources at litwellnesssolutions.com — we’re here to help you move toward sustainable wellness, not perfection.

Gut health isn’t about a single “superfood”—it’s about building a pattern that nourishes your microbiome. This dietitian-written guide explains how fiber, prebiotics, polyphenols, fermented foods, and resistant starch work together to support Bifidobacterium, Akkermansia, and Faecalibacterium—microbes that help digestion, reduce inflammation, and support regularity.

Practical tips you can try: fill half your plate with plants, add legumes or whole grains daily, enjoy a half cup of berries most days, include fermented foods regularly, and try cooled potatoes or rice for resistant starch. If you have ongoing symptoms (bloating, constipation, diarrhea) or a diagnosed GI condition, a registered dietitian can help personalize a safe, effective plan.

We don’t just aim for short-term fixes—we help ignite lasting change through mindful, non-diet nutrition and the five pillars of health. Learn more and read the full guide at litwellnesssolutions.com — your gut (and your wellbeing) will thank you! 🌿💚📘

Let’s demand stronger protections from the FDA!

Consumers should not have to wonder whether everyday foods contain additives at levels that may raise health concerns.

The FDA must do more to protect public health, especially children’s health.

That’s why Yuka is leading the way in calling for stronger regulation of food additives in the United States, including more transparent safety assessments, regular reassessments based on the latest science, stricter limits for additives of concern, and closing loopholes that allow new substances to enter the food supply without sufficient independent review.

We have a food safety problem in our country. It isn't a new problem, but instead of embracing the cleanup efforts, people have become political.

Weekends and vacations change more than your schedule—they change how you relate to food. Instead of stricter rules, try “flexible anchors”: pick 1–2 consistent meal windows, decide in advance how you want to enjoy treats, and check in with curiosity (Am I hungry or just entertained?). These small shifts help you bridge the weekday/weekend identity gap so you can enjoy food without the swing between control and guilt.

If you’re ready to move beyond chronic dieting and build a mindful, sustainable approach to eating—whether for yourself or your workforce—see practical, compassion-first strategies from a registered dietitian. Weekends and vacations don’t just change your schedule—they shift your entire mindset around food. With less structure, eating becomes more intuitive, social, and reward-driven.
