🤎One of my favorite people in the wellness community here in Columbia, Dr. Li, is retiring. 🥹 I’m sad about it, but I understand. When you’ve been in the game for so long, sometimes it’s okay to gracefully bow out so you can enjoy the rest of your life. ✨👁️

So happy for his retirement, but I had to squeeze in an appointment. He is only available on Tuesdays now. And I’m not sure how much longer he will do that. Yesterday was great, and I feel so good after my chiropractor adjustment and acupuncture. This is my Chinese doctor that helped me through a very painful healing crisis a couple of years ago.

Love him so much! Big shout out to my new chiropractor. Thank you for listening and taking your time on my assessment yesterday. 🙌🏽✨🌷💆🏽‍♀️🩺👨🏼‍⚕️

👩🏾‍⚕️✨For over 20 years, people from every walk of life have trusted me with something incredibly sacred—their bodies, their pain, their stress, and often the parts of themselves they don’t share with anyone else.

Young or old. Black, white, brown. Rich or struggling. None of that matters once they walk through my door. We are simply human.

Every time someone chooses my table, I don’t take it lightly. It is an honor. It is a privilege. Their trust humbles me every single day.

One of my deepest wishes is that the world would truly embrace massage therapy—not as a luxury, but as one of the greatest acts of self-preservation. We wait until our bodies cry out before we listen, when healing was always meant to be part of how we live, not just how we recover.

To me, massage therapy is more than a career. It is a calling. A place where compassion meets science, where healing begins with human touch, and where people are reminded that they, too, deserve care.
