Our Family Medicine Residency Retreat reminded us that while change is the only constant, growth happens when individuals commit to becoming better for the team, the program, and the patients we serve.

Grateful for a group of residents and faculty who continue to evolve, support each other, and push our program forward. Like good wine here in Temecula, great things take time. 🍷

For the last three decades, Dr. Baron — General Surgeon and Past Chief of Staff at Emanate Health — has returned home to the Philippines to provide free medical and surgical care to underserved communities. 🇵🇭

What started as one physician’s commitment to service has now become a shared mission.

Our Program Director, Dr. Quiamas, has had the privilege of joining him in past years — and this year, our residents officially became part of the journey through our Global Health Curriculum.

From clinic consults to surgical cases, today marked the beginning of an experience rooted in humility, compassion, and purpose.

This is why we train.
This is why we serve.
This is Family Medicine without borders.
