Perham OKTOBERFEST.

I will have homegrown medicinal tea, salves and a bunch of other natural goodies. Come enjoy the festivities!

09/24/2026

Mahnomen farmers market today (Thursday 24th) 3-6pm

I will be serving samples of my favorite nourishing teas I grow organically.

Sweet lemon butter tea: lemon basil, tulsi, creamy butter, local maple syrup.
Butter tea is a natural delicious way to have energy all day long! It's super popular in Tibetan culture!

Adding quality butter to tea provides high-calorie, sustained energy, helps the body absorb antioxidants, and prevents dehydration and chapped skin in cold sometimes unforgiving environments.

Apple c***r chai: tulsi, custom organic chai mix, Fuji apples
Today I have it with a lil cream and local maple syrup.

I typically only sample the tea itself, but I wanted to make them how I typically enjoy them!

📍Here from 1-7pm

Come try some hot or cold homegrown teas, frozen native deserts made out of organic, local, regeneratively grown ingredients!

Special flavor highlight: butter tea! Homegrown sweet lemon tea, maple syrup,Organic butter

Butter tea serves as a potent medicinal tool in traditional Himalayan healing (Sowa Rigpa), strategically combining chemical compounds to counter the extreme physical and environmental stress of living in cold climates.

On a cellular level, the fat content drastically increases the body's absorption of brain-boosting antioxidants and fat-soluble vitamins, while short-chain fatty acids like butyrate target the gut-brain axis to reduce systemic inflammation and support overall digestive health.
