Please note that The Sadkhin Complex of West Hartford remains open for as long as allowed to.
As always your health and safety is our top priority.
In addition to monitoring guidance from local, national and global health organizations we are taking necessary precautions and safety measures to prevent the spread of infection and protect both our clients and our community, including:
- Maintaining the highest level of cleanliness.
- Scheduling clients at least half hour apart, to avoid social gatherings.
- Taking extra measures by disinfecting surfaces and common areas after each client.
- Currently not accepting clients who do not feel well as well as asking all clients who traveled outside of US or have fever or cough to reschedule their appointment at this time!

TURMERIC GINGER SHOT

Have a shot of this turmeric ginger shot every day to keep the flu away!

Ingredients
200 g fresh ginger
40 g turmeric
1 litre / 4 cups water
5-7 black peppercorns
3 tbsp honey
juice from 2 lemons

Instructions
Grate the turmeric and ginger (wear plastic gloves, otherwise your hands and nails will turn yellow!)
Warm up the water to a temperature of around 50-55°C (and no more than 60°C) Add the turmeric, ginger and black pepper and leave to steep for 20-30 minutes.
Remove from pan and leave to cool down for 20-30 minutes, or when the water is lukewarm. Add the lemon and honey and stir until the honey's dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Once cooled, funnel the mixture into a bottle with a lid and keep it in the fridge, where it will stay fresh to around 2-3 weeks
Drink a shot of this in the morning - about 40 ml / 3 tbsp a shot!
Notes
Stays fresh in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
It has quite a sharp taste, so you can dilute it with a little bit of water if it's too sharp.
Ginger and turmeric are both quite potent and if you're on any medications or have any health conditions or are pregnant, consult with your GP before taking this daily!
