A reverse hyperextension is when your upper body is supported in place, legs hang off the machine and extend from the hips. Hyperextension conversely has your legs locked in and has you extend from your torso.

πŸ”‘ The reverse hyper targets more of the glutes and hamstrings while the hyperextension focuses more on the lower back.
