A little more wellness under one roof. 🌿

Excited to welcome Serene Therapeutic, a massage therapy practice located downstairs in the same building as Shade Tree Embodied Wellness!

While we each offer our own unique approach to wellness, it’s always nice to share a space with others who help people make time for themselves and their well-being.

If you’re visiting, be sure to say hello and give them a warm welcome!

It was an HONOR to be chosen to share the story of our mind-body connection through an article with Natural Awakenings Magazine 👀☀️

This is our favorite topic to talk about and we are even more thrilled than it got shared with each of you. Check out this September version to read the full article.

There’s a few copies to read while you wait in the waiting space! 📖

Sometimes the right book gives language to something you’ve been feeling but couldn’t quite explain.📖☕️

I love having resources that allow the work to continue outside of our time together, giving you something to reflect on, return to, and see yourself through a little differently.

Where you’re at right now isn’t the end of your story. In fact, start a “new” chapter in our life often.

Even if right now feels a bit overwhelming OR just not where you’d like to be, don’t get discouraged. Keep learning about yourself, growing in ways that inspire positive change, and enjoying the present moment around you.

Keep writing your story, the next chapter could be the best one yet 👀📖

The people around us learn from more than what we say; they also experience how we handle stress, emotions, conflict, and repair.🏠🏢

You don’t have to be perfectly regulated to create something different. When you begin understanding yourself and your patterns, you create more space for the people you love to experience something different too.✨

Sometimes a reaction in the present makes more sense when you understand what your nervous system learned in the past.🏡

Your patterns didn’t come from nowhere, and understanding them isn’t about blaming your childhood; it’s about creating more choice in how you respond today.

You can honor where you came from ➡️ without letting it decide where you go. 📍

What if changing your life doesn’t begin with figuring out what you need to do differently, but with getting curious about what you’ve come to believe you deserve?👀

Because when you begin to believe you deserve relationships that feel safe, rest that doesn’t have to be earned, space to have needs, and a life that doesn’t require you to constantly override yourself, your choices start to change too. Not because you’ve suddenly figured everything out, but because you’re no longer willing to keep abandoning yourself to stay comfortable, needed, or familiar.🙌✨

That kind of change can be quiet at first, but over time, it can change the way you move through your relationships, your decisions, your body, and your everyday life.

You deserve to experience what it feels like to build a life that doesn’t just look okay from the outside, but actually feels good to live inside.🏡

You don’t have to walk into this space with everything figured out.🪩✨

You can come tired, overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply curious about why you keep feeling the way you do, and we can start there. Sometimes having somewhere safe to slow down is where things begin to shift. 😌

The past feels like walking through life with a full glass of water in your hands, quietly trying to keep everything from spilling over. 🧘‍♀️✨

You learn to move carefully, to stay composed, to avoid anything that might shake the glass. But sometimes the smallest moment can bring everything to the surface. Not because you’re too sensitive, but because you’ve been carrying so much for so long.

Healing can begin when you no longer have to spend all your energy trying not to spill.🥛

The essentials of an integrative coach: staying curious about the mind, paying attention to the body, and making space for both.👥🧠🌻

Sometimes what we feel mentally shows up physically. Sometimes the body notices something before we have the words for it.

It all matters.🌱
