🎨 Come paint with me this July! (Carlos)
I’ll be teaching a two-day plein air mentoring experience through the Villages Folk School in Keosauqua, Iowa, leading up to the Van Buren County Plein Air event. Two emerging artists will be selected for this focused, hands-on experience designed to help you grow quickly in your outdoor painting practice.

There will also be a “Meet the Artist” demonstration day open to anyone who wants to watch, learn, and ask questions in a relaxed setting.

Creative Escape Mentorship - Plein Air Painting - July 13-17.
Learn from plein air artist, Carlos Maldonado, and compete with some of the best plein air painters in the Midwest during the 2026 Paint The Fair, plein air contest. Loads of fun, casual setting, relaxing atmosphere!!!
Application Deadline: 9am Friday June 19th.
