Lupus and Cancer in the News: People with autoimmune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis have a higher risk of developing lymphoma, and researchers may now understand why. A new study found that chronic overactivation between B cells and T cells can create a self-sustaining immune response that drives both autoimmunity and cancer risk. The findings could lead to new ways to prevent lymphoma and better target treatment in autoimmune diseases!
